Peace not Pieces”

Are you a young African currently in Tunisia? Have you been looking for a way to balance your personal and professional life? Are you looking for peaceful and accessible means to bring peace to yourself and share it with those around you?
iBuild Africa, through its project Peace not Pieces, is bringing together young people from different cultural and ideological backgrounds in the aim of learning a set of peaceful and mindful practices in order to improve both their personal and professional life.
Following our vision of contributing to the 16th Sustainable Development goals of the UN: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, we believe that harnessing peace in our communities cannot be effective if not being in peace with ourselves first.


Event Description

Peace not Pieces will put into effect the gained knowledge to eliminate stress , boost creativity and innovation and awaken inner peace ( restore your spiritual awakening , energize your body ) so that the participants enjoy a physically, and mentally transcendental experience.
Joining Peace not Pieces will give you the access to a rich non-formal educative program that provides you with a deeper insight of:

  • Peace building through inner peace and mindful practices.
  • Mind detox.
  • Non-violent communication.
  • Conflict resolution.
  • Pillars of a sustainable development in Africa.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be African nationals currently in Tunisia.
  • Candidates should be current student of any Tunisian university.
  • Candidates have good proficiency in written and spoken English language.
  • Candidates should have a genuine interest in Peace building in their own communities.
  • Candidates should be optimistic, open-minded, show leadership potential, and have a genuine interest in peace.
